Mercado Bitcoin paused deposits and withdrawals on Nov. 2 after wallets were drained on at least 10 blockchains. Security firms estimate losses between $40 million and $46 million. Tether froze more than $4.5 million in USDT tied to the incident. The exchange says no customers were harmed and no data was breached.
