US Charges Man After Crypto Scam Wallets Received More Than $53M

U.S. prosecutors charged Vietnamese national Trung Nguyen Van, 37, with two money-laundering counts tied to pig-butchering crypto scams. Wallets he controlled allegedly received about $53.3 million, including roughly $16 million from one victim who invested via a fake platform called Triangle. The charges remain allegations pending trial.
