A Gallup analysis finds 23 million U.S. workers experience 'job lock,' staying in unwanted roles to keep health insurance. Women and those with chronic conditions feel the burden most. Nearly half of respondents who see healthcare as a major financial burden stay in unwanted jobs. Workers with chronic conditions are 12 percentage points more likely to report job lock.
