Crypto: Zcash Wins 99.9% Support for Major Network Upgrade

Zcash's NU7 upgrade won 99.9% support from ZEC holders, approving a block time reduction from 75 to 25 seconds. Holders also voted 98.9% to keep the current halving schedule. About 2.4 million ZEC participated out of 3.6 million eligible, impacting performance and future issuance.
