Russia Bans P2P Crypto Trading & Self-Custody Wallets: What Investors Need to Know

Russia has banned direct peer-to-peer cryptocurrency trading and retail transfers to self-custody wallets. The Bank of Russia announced the update to comprehensive crypto regulations signed into law by President Vladimir Putin in August. Crypto traders now have a grace period until July to comply with the new restrictions.
