Security firm Calif built a zero-click worm that hijacks WeChat accounts via incoming calls, demonstrated spreading across three test phones without the victim answering or touching their device. The caller must be a WeChat contact. Calif reported the flaw to Tencent in July; Tencent has since begun addressing it.
