Exclusive: OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio

OpenAI has acquired Orchestra Bio, a startup building AI agents for pharmaceutical drug development, and will integrate its team and technology into Rosalind, its life sciences suite. The platform lets scientists delegate tasks like monitoring studies and tracking timelines to AI agents. Financial terms were not disclosed. Rival Anthropic also acquired an AI biotech startup.
