Pence: Stopping ballistic attacks in Ukraine will ‘take the last fighting tool out of Vladimir Putin’s hands’

Former Vice President Mike Pence and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed Sunday the importance of Ukraine having capabilities to deter Russian ballistic missile strikes. Pence said Russian forces have shifted to using high-arcing ballistic missiles and cruise missiles, which require Patriot systems to counter. He argued stopping these attacks would take the last fighting tool out of Vladimir Putin's hands.
