Ledger Wallets Taken off Shelves in 7 Asian Markets as Spy Chip Probe Deepens

Ledger told resellers and distributors in six Southeast Asian countries and Hong Kong to stop selling its hardware wallets and pull them from shelves while it investigates tampered devices. In an incident update posted Oct. 13, the French hardware wallet maker said it is probing devices that may have been compromised before reaching customers.
