Cloudflare reported 18.2 million network-layer DDoS attacks in Q3 2026, a 38% increase, with about 8,226 attacks per hour. The company also mitigated 14.4 trillion HTTP DDoS requests. This equates to 197,400 attacks daily, or one every 0.44 seconds, according to its Thursday report.
