Trump cancels Hegseth's plan to livestream Fort Hood shooter's execution

President Trump overruled Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, halting his plan to livestream the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan. NBC News' Courtney Kube reported the decision on Thursday. The execution, which had been scheduled, will now proceed without a live broadcast, though details on the new format were not immediately provided.
