Cybersecurity researchers flagged a malicious VS Code extension named Solidity Pro that delivers a browser wallet and credential stealer, targeting crypto wallets, API keys, and credentials. The extensions "helper-beeps.solidity-pro" and "web3devtoolsx.solidity-pro" are no longer available on Open VSX, but may persist via other channels. Users are advised to remove the extension immediately.
