U.S. measles cases this year have surged to 2,295, surpassing last year's total and reaching a 35-year high, per a Johns Hopkins tracker. Most cases are in unvaccinated people. Jurisdictions including South Carolina, Utah, Texas, Florida and Arizona have the most cases. The CDC reported 2,260 confirmed cases as of July 16.
