Democrats ask judge to dismiss Trump administration’s challenge to Alaska Senate race

Attorneys for Alaska Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola and Senate Democrats filed a motion Friday asking a federal judge to dismiss the Trump administration's lawsuit seeking to block election results if Republican incumbent Dan Sullivan loses. The motion challenges the administration's legal effort to preemptively contest the upcoming Senate race.
