DOJ accuses UC San Diego medical school of bias in admissions

The Department of Justice on Monday accused UC San Diego School of Medicine of racial discrimination in its application process by favoring Black and Hispanic applicants. The DOJ's Civil Rights Division said its investigation found the medical school allegedly discriminated against applicants using race-neutral practices. The school has not yet responded to the allegations.
