Trump vanishes from GOP campaign ads

Republicans have largely dropped President Trump from their general election ads, according to AdImpact data. Trump appeared in 66% of House Republican primary ads but only 3% of general election ads, and in Senate races the drop was from 77% to 22%. Democrats also reduced Trump mentions, from 45% to 18%, as both parties focus on the economy and health care.
