President Trump announced Friday night that his administration will send nearly $100 checks to over 20 million seniors to help pay Medicare Part B premiums, funded by the Medicare Improvement Fund. Eligible seniors will receive $90 via direct deposit in early October, or paper checks if needed. The move adds roughly $2 billion to recent promised refunds and rebates ahead of the midterm elections.
