ONE Token Crashes 40% as Harmony Protocol Confirms Unauthorized 4B Mint Exploit

Harmony Protocol's ONE token crashed 40% after an exploit allowed an attacker to mint 4 billion ONE tokens without authorization. Almost all minted tokens were transferred to crypto exchanges for sale. On-chain analyst Juiceberg first reported the unauthorized mint, which caused a sharp price decline for the Layer-1 blockchain's native token.
