Blockchain sleuth ZachXBT criticized Ripple's $250K payout for a bug that, if exploited, would have allowed someone to issue 18 trillion XRP in a single transaction, 184 times the original capped supply. The reward was given to Cayden Liao and Veria Labs by the Ripple Ledger Foundation.
