Fake Coinbase Rep Scammed 100 Victims Out of Millions

Ronald Spektor, 23, was sentenced to four to 12 years in prison for a Coinbase phishing scheme that stole nearly $16 million from about 100 US victims. He posed as a Coinbase representative, claiming accounts were hacked, and pleaded guilty to 31 counts including grand larceny.
