Indonesian Banks Logged 214,000 Cyber Threat Detections in One Day

FortiGuard Labs recorded about 350,600 cyber threat detections in Indonesia on November 7, with financial firms making up roughly 61%. About 214,000 detections involved banks, insurers and other financial institutions. Experts say the figures show detected threats, not confirmed successful breaches. A Malaysian bank, Bank Rakyat, had websites defaced on November 6.
