Judge confirms protections for Haitians in US no longer in place

A federal judge on Wednesday confirmed that Haitian migrants in the U.S. have lost their temporary protected status (TPS). The ruling follows a Supreme Court decision earlier this summer that allowed the Trump administration to terminate the designation. Judge Ana Reyes acknowledged the high court reversed her February order pausing the termination.
