Schneider Said to Near Deal to Buy PTC for More Than $20 Billion

Schneider Electric SE is nearing a deal to acquire US-based engineering software developer PTC Inc. for more than $20 billion, according to a source familiar with the matter. The acquisition would expand Schneider's industrial software portfolio. No final agreement has been reached, and terms could still change, the source said.
