Judges are becoming AI firewalls, setting guidelines for lawyers and reprimanding those who fail to vet research or cite fake AI-generated cases. A survey of 112 judges found 60% used at least one AI tool, with 22% using them weekly or daily. Concerns include AI hallucinations, privacy, and confidentiality, as adoption outpaces training.
