The Wanchain bridge connecting Cardano and BNB Chain was hacked on July 21, 2026, losing 515 million NIGHT tokens worth $13 million. NIGHT's price dropped over 30% to near $0.016. Wanchain took the bridge offline. The Midnight Foundation confirmed its blockchain was unaffected. BlockSec Phalcon identified the exploit as non-injective.
