ShinyHunters Extorted Boeing Spin-off Prior to Arrests

A teenager from Amman, Jordan, suspected of leading the data theft group ShinyHunters, has been detained and is cooperating with the FBI. KrebsOnSecurity learned the suspect, known as 'Rey,' was detained while the group was extorting a business unit recently divested by Boeing, which manufactures planes used by Rey's father's employer, Royal Jordanian Airlines.
