Brazil’s Crypto Purchases Plunge 80% in July

Brazilian residents purchased only $572 million worth of crypto in July, an 80% plunge from $2.6 billion in June, according to the Central Bank. The drop coincided with the first full month of new anti-money laundering controls imposed on local platforms.
