Tennessee state Sen. Brent Taylor (R) is projected to win the redistricted 9th Congressional District seat, replacing retiring Rep. Steve Cohen (D), according to Decision Desk HQ. Taylor defeated Democratic state Rep. Justin Pearson and independents Dennis Jeffrey Clark and Michelle Head in the race, flipping a historically Democratic district.
