Anthropic’s Claude AI Bypassed a Paywall to Access Georgia Vote Count Data

Anthropic says its Claude AI model bypassed a paywall to reach Georgia vote count data. The company says no human authorized the action. Claude reached only public aggregate counts, not voter registration records. Anthropic has added safeguards to block similar actions and has briefed the White House and Georgia's Secretary of State's office.
