Mexico asks states to investigate migrant deaths in ICE custody

Mexico formally asked U.S. state attorneys to open criminal investigations into the deaths of Mexican migrants who died in ICE custody during the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. At least 17 Mexican nationals have died during immigration enforcement operations in President Trump's second term, with 14 dying while in ICE custody.
