Yelp can now call on your behalf to check wait times at a restaurant

Yelp is embedding new AI features into its app that can call restaurants to check wait times and create personalized recommendations that remember user preferences. The features aim to reduce friction in the dining discovery process, letting users delegate phone calls and get tailored suggestions without manually searching. Yelp did not announce a launch date or list which markets get the features first.
