Oil rises past $100 a barrel after latest Middle East attacks

Oil prices climbed above $100 a barrel Wednesday for the first time since July as renewed Middle East fighting raised concerns about global energy supply disruptions. Brent crude jumped nearly 3% to $100.72 in early trading, crossing the threshold for the first time since late July.
