DOJ moves to strip citizenship from 40 people

The Justice Department filed 40 denaturalization actions in district courts between Aug. 21 and Oct. 2, targeting naturalized citizens accused of crimes. Attorney General Todd Blanche called it the 'largest denaturalization effort in modern history.' Assistant Attorney General Brett Shumate said each individual 'lied their way into U.S. citizenship.' The administration aims for 250 cases by this month.
