Kansas Attorney General Kris Kobach lost his reelection bid, the Associated Press projected, denying him a second term. Chris Mann, a former prosecutor and police officer who nearly beat him in 2024, leads with 50.6% of the vote to Kobach's 49.4%. The race remains close as ballots continue to be counted.
