CERT-In Flags AI-Driven Attacks as Backdoored ARTEX Exposes 62 Consoles to Root Access

India's CERT-In disclosed that an AI-assisted threat actor it tracks as Crafty Falcon is targeting Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance organizations in the country. The agency called the activity active and ongoing, saying it involves publicly available AI-driven offensive security tools. A backdoored ARTEX component reportedly exposed 62 consoles to root access.
