Trump names Will Scharf as new White House counsel

President Trump named Will Scharf as his new White House counsel on Sunday, a shakeup in the key legal role. Scharf will assume the role on Sept. 1 and replace David Warrington, who has served since Trump’s inauguration and is headed to the private sector, the president announced on Truth Social. Trump described Scharf as 'Tough, Strong.'
