Army Secretary Dan Driscoll resigns from post

Army Secretary Dan Driscoll is stepping down, according to a Defense Department official. Driscoll, the youngest Army secretary in history, clashed with Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over the removal of four officers from a promotions list. Hegseth allegedly forced out Driscoll's senior adviser, Col. David Butler, in February.
