Standard Chartered's RLUSD custody service went live on the XRP Ledger on October 12, 2026, offering eligible institutional clients access to the bank's digital asset custody. A planned collaboration with Ripple and LMAX Group would let clients use the stablecoin's value as trading collateral without transferring underlying tokens directly.
