Novel climate change lawsuit seeking damages from oil companies heads to Supreme Court

The Supreme Court will consider in October a novel climate change lawsuit in which the city of Boulder, Colorado, seeks damages from Exxon Mobil and Suncor Energy. Boulder aims to hold the energy companies accountable for costs of adapting to a climate altered by fossil fuel emissions.
