The London Stock Exchange plans to launch a separate overnight trading venue in the first half of 2027, running from 5:00 p.m. to 7:50 a.m. London time. It will initially offer exchange-traded products linked to UK and US markets. Crypto markets and tokenized equity platforms already offer around-the-clock trading, pressuring traditional exchanges.
