UAE authorities said the Flydubai co-pilot who attacked his captain with an axe last month intended to crash the 182-passenger plane into a passenger terminal at an Israeli airport. The suspect, 29-year-old Omani national Hamam al-Hammami, planned to seize control and crash the aircraft, according to officials.
