Lawson convenience stores in Tokyo now accept JPYC stablecoin payments via a barcode scan at existing registers. The integration uses HashPort Wallet for Biz and Canal Payment Service's PAYTREE gateway, requiring no dedicated stablecoin terminal. Customers pay 322 yen for items using the JPYC stablecoin through the store's standard checkout system.
