U.S., China reach $30 billion tariff deal after Trump-Xi summit

The U.S. and China reached a deal to lower tariffs on $30 billion of non-sensitive goods, the White House said. China will cut tariffs on agricultural goods, seafood, wood products, cosmetics, and medical devices, while the U.S. will reduce tariffs on small appliances, toys, holiday decorations, and kids' car seats. China will also import 10 million metric tons of U.S. coal in 2027 and 2028.
