MetaMask Says It Began Validator Exits as a Security Precaution

MetaMask disclosed an incident affecting part of its infrastructure on Sept. 30 and said it had found no immediate threat to its wallets. As a security precaution, it began validator exits, with an on-chain estimate counting 16,965 validators exited or in the queue by October.
