House passes GOP stock trading ban bill

The House passed a GOP-backed congressional stock trading ban bill 232-198 on Wednesday. Thirteen Democrats joined all Republicans in voting for the legislation, introduced by House Administration Committee Chair Bryan Steil. The bill overcame months of delay after conservative hardliners pressed House GOP leaders to bring it to a vote.
