SBI Holdings completed its takeover of Japanese exchange Bitbank on Oct. 1, making it a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal was valued at approximately $290 million (¥46.7 billion). Bitbank is one of Japan's busiest XRP markets and a partner of Ripple.
