RBC Hires Gaut From Mizuho to Head Strategic Equity Dealmaking

Royal Bank of Canada hired Mariano Gaut from Mizuho Financial Group to lead global strategic equity dealmaking. Gaut will head structuring of corporate derivatives and origination of convertible bond deals. The appointment strengthens RBC's equity capital markets team as it expands its derivatives and convertible offerings worldwide.
