AUSTRAC Shuts Down 96 Cryptolink Crypto ATMs Over AML Failures

AUSTRAC suspended Cryptolink and forced 96 crypto ATMs offline for three months over AML failures. The operator failed key transaction reporting duties and did not respond to a formal information request. AUSTRAC had previously fined Cryptolink A$56,340 for compliance issues. Australia continues tightening crypto ATM rules to curb scams and money laundering.
