Cuba Warns US Sanctions Are Blocking Reform

Cuba's Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío told Bloomberg that Cuba remains ready for talks with the US, but continued sanctions and economic pressure are hampering the island's efforts to reform its economy. He said Cuba would welcome greater US investment and hopes the confrontation can ultimately end through negotiations.
