Mamdani, New York Democrats call on private parking lot owners to ban ICE officers

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and other New York Democrats urged private parking lot owners Friday to ban ICE officers from their properties. In a statement, they said the request stands in solidarity with immigrant New Yorkers and reflects a shared commitment to the city. The move targets federal immigration enforcement access to private lots.
